Welcome to the home website of the Nippon Kobudo Rengokai (NKR). The NKR was founded in Japan to oversee the inherited martial system known as Shorinji Tetsu-Ken Kamishin Ryu (STKR). This system is considered a Kempo-Jutsu system which has been handed down by lineage succession initially from China to Korea to Japan and eventually to America. STKR has been broken down into Ryugi (sub-systems) format to teach the basics of the system.

 

   Our Ryugi are taught as follows;

 

1. Kempo / Karate (Fist Method / China Hand)

 

2. Aiki Jujutsu (Blending Soft Mechanics)

3. Buki (Various Weapons)

 

   This site is the main site for our system and as such has various historical information as well as dojo/student information. The historical information as well as much of the system structure information is open information. The member information is designed specifically for the Shorinji Tetsu-Ken Kamishin Ryu stylist and is password locked.

 

We hope this site will be helpful in showing the deep history of our system as well as a resource for our systems various dojo and students.
